Ok...obviously have been busy...went to the Butler County v. Coffeyville game and saw a lot of good old Kansas prep wrestling stars...also wound up in a wreck and sustained a mild concussion, but the show must go on and with that here's the 2003 160lb Grand State Bracket....
Pursel (atch co) v. Lappin (Garden) Figge (turner) v. Lattimer (ft. scott)
Bunker (man) v. Schumacher (TMP) Brack (good) v. Sanger (hays)
Hart (S.heights) v. Medill (lans) Gawith (minn) v. Madill (law)
Weller (mulv) v. Gardner (bonner) Glessner (junc city) v. Ross (St. Fran)

Well, I see Bunker in the finals, because he IS a state champion. Do you guys remember that? Yeah, that's right. He's a state champ. And I know him.
If memory serves, he beat or placed higher than everyone else on the top half of the bracket at some point during the year.
And word on the street (through a GC buddy of mine) is that ol' Mr. Lappin has been talking a wee bit of junk on my buddy Bunk, saying that the only reason he didn't win was because he choked at state....well, my friend, I must say that Derek was better on his feet than anyone in Kansas (excluding Yours Truly, of course) at the state meet. It was nuts. Seriously, he could have even taken down a life-size green monster truck that weekend. Absolutely bananas. (So, what I'm trying to say is: no, Mr. Lappin, you couldn't have won state. Even if you had beaten Glessner-who was also quite manly that weekend- you would have run into the buzzsaw that is Derek Bunker. And that would have been trouble.)
On the bottom side, I see Hart winning pretty easily. I think he might win the whole thing, simply because he's a manimal. But if Hart and Bunker wrestled at state, it might be different. However, every other week Hart takes it.
(Sorry, Derek. But you're still a state champ. Ha. Man, that is SWEET. Theodore Roosevelt for LIFE. Go Teddy Bears.)

I concur Prant, I believe Hart would take all. He's good.
Oh snap.

manimal is a good way to describe Hart, but i personally would go with manster.

Phil is more than a manimal or a manster. He's just crazy. I saw him bust someone's nose, taking a snap down to the knee. The way the guys' face just bounced off his knee was the oddest thing i've ever seen in wrestling.

Hart is also quite a funny man. I had the pleasure of attending wrestling camp with him one summer. It was a riot.
Oh snap.

Oh yeah Phil and Tanner G. both are funny when their together. But now that their far apart, it will seem as tho the are lost. But Phil is an all around great guy. Heck both of them are.
