For all that were unable to see this match, it was a good one. 1st period no take downs. 2nd period coin toss red, Annon takes down position. Annon escapes immediatley. Great flurry, Annon trys to hit 3 duck unders in a row, which takes them to the edge of the mat Jake scores off Annon's takedown attempt. 3rd period, Jake does nothing on bottom. It's a 1 point match until Annon gives Jake the escape.Annon cuts him to late in the period to work off his feet. Annon takes it to Jake the whole match, not much action out of Jake.

Oh and Nigel I don't think anyone owes Jake an apology. He's good but he didn't impress me. It was alot closer for Annon than what the score reflects, but go ahead and rave on Nigel.

Boogie Man,

You forgot to add the awesome stretchiness of Annon...that was crazy!

I would like to hear from someone that saw this match differently. Just curious. Sounds a little one sided (described) to me.

Jake overpowered him the whole match. Annon didn't really have any opportunities to do anything. Jake is good.

Annon is good too. Just not as good, obviously. But close. Like a point or two close. Well, I could probably take them in bowling, by at least 100. Well, maybe bowling and basketball.

I like Annon. He talked to me after the dual. Good wrestlers usually don't talk to me because I suck, so this was a nice treat. You got the win in my heart, and that is at least 85% of what counts isn't it? Huh James?

Annon appeared much quicker. He got in DEEP on several occasions while they were in the netural position and on their feet. However, he didn't seem to have the strength to finish. It was the first time I had seen him wrestle. I was impressed with his quickness. He did seem to run out of gas.

The other four timer was much more impressive in his win.

I think Annon had trouble because Jake was taller, stronger, and looked really mad, like always. Annon's ducks were sweet, but so were Jake's. Both are very good, but the better wrestler did win the match.

The depiction of the match was pretty accurate. Annon did seem to do most of the work during the match but Jake was very strong in defending him. The takedown was a result of Jake capitalizing on Annon getting a little out of position during one of their flurries. It was obvious that both wrestlers had a lot of respect for one another. It really could have gone either way.

Well said, by you and Lent. Lent, thank you. Nigel is really, really dumb, and needs to be stopped from posting his nonsense.

Nigel, thanks for not letting me down. I knew I'd get a rise out of you. You can't keep your mouth shut.

For the rest of you. I know it was a good match. Jake done what he had to do, and he done it well. I know there is more to wrestling a match than just being aggressive. Jake sat back and waited for Annon to make his moves then tried to capatilize on them, which he did. Jakes strength over Annon was a big part in his win. Congrats Jake. Oh and Nigel your nothing.

All I have to say about Jake is he doesn't win by the greatest of margins, but just does what he has to do to win. He's always been like that and he's got 4 state titles to show for it. He must have done something good in his 4 years I'd say. I don't know who coined this quote but "a Win is a Win no matter what the final score is" and that's how Jake has done his high school wrestling. Just getting it done!

Yeah, but it's still nice to be flashy at times, like Garcia. I heart him.
