Was it consensous that Jris would kill Nigel? I can't even remember anymore. Here's the real deal: Jris vs. Horinek. I think Jris can win if he can stop the power, speed, aggressiveness, intensity, offense, defense and experience of Horinek. Any other predictions????

This may seem like bragging, but it's confidence. If I was healthy, in shape, and ready, I could beat him. I know what I can do. Right now I'm none of these. So it should be fun to watch.

But, from what I understand, the match isn't set as of yet. For one reason or another, he declined my first request for him in the Senior Classic. My coach told me this morning, but hopefully this is wrong and the match will go down like planned.

If Horinek is so amazing like everyone says, why did he decline the offer. What is he scared of. If he is soooo amazing.

If that match does happen, got to give my boy Jhris the props. I think he could win.

I think Horinek is scared because he heard Jhris beat me one time in a fluke match.

Don't worry, Horinek. He's really not that special. Just ask Aswad.

I have only seen him once before, on the broadcast of last years state tournament. I don't really remember what he looked like, only that he was big.

Horinek looks to be in great shape, and is quick. He looked a little tired near the end of the finals match at state though.
If Jhris locks up that cradle on him it could be all over. I've heard from one of your victims getting caught in your cradle is like being in a vise.

Jhris, I gotta say that you are hillarious, I get on this forum every morning just to see what you have to say.

I know that since wrestling is over, Jeff does
not check this any more, so I guess I will speak for him.

Right now, of the three sports he competes in, wrestling takes a back seat to football and track. His main love is football, which he will be playing at Colorado State next year, now his committment is to track. Last year he set a state record in the discus, having the 7th longest throw in the nation! and will be trying to add two more this year in the shot and discus.

I am not trying to brag on Jeff, but, I am trying to say that Jeff wrestled to make him a better football player, and he wrestled to make him a better track athlete, but wrestling is something that he is glad he is finished with. He had to hold his weight down during the season, he is almost 230 right now. He gives tons of credit to wrestling for making him that athlete his is right now, but even a big as a competitor that he is, I don't think you will get him on the mat again. You all can try, but I think he is done.

I would love to see him on the mat again, would be a great match, especially again the legend that I only know as Jhris Cennings!

Jeff's Brother,
Deone Horinek

I was in Jeff Horinek bracket at state this last year, I took 6th in it. Jeff Horink is about 6 '5 and prolly 225 now. When i saw him he was pure muscle he didnt have any fat on him at all. Jeff is very stronger and very fast. I dont knowif there is anybody in High School that can beat. Except for MAYBE Jordan Bedore because he weighs so much more.

Well if he weighs 230, it shouldn't be a problem, as I believe wrestlers get at 10 pound allowance. (When I wrestled in it, we did. )

I think it's very noble of the Horinek clan to get on the boards and defend his honor. Props to you guys.

And no, Jhris's cradle is not like a vice. It's more like two wet noodles stuck together with a piece of really soft gum.

So let's see these two fatties go at it. (And when I say "two fatties" I really mean, "Jhris is a fatty and Horinek is a monster.")

I just know Jeff casually and through my sons. Our school and his happen to be big rivals, but Jeff has always been nothing but a gentleman. I know all the kids from Sainty think alot of him and all the rest of the Atwood kids. We will be following Jeff in the future and hope things go the way he hopes at CSU.

Yes, my cradle is legend, no matter what Prant says. I've cradled the likes of Phillip Lyons, Jeff Frandin, numerous state placers, and numerous state champs. I hope that Jeff will strongly reconsider, however. I think it would be fun to get on the mat with him. I really don't plan on taking the match too seriously, becuase I'm old now.

as you can tell by my name this is jeff horinek. i didn't get on here to talk trash or anything because i usually tried to do my talking on the mat rather than telling everyone about how great i am. the main reason i'm posting is to confirm the fact that i will not be competing at the senior classic. even though i would love the chance to wrestle a quality wrestler like jhris i will be in colorado that whole week for spring break working out with a former olympic coach. doing this has been in my plans since i went last year and its a chance i'm not going to pass up, especially since track is higher on priorities than wrestling. anyways, i wish i could be there to wrestle, but it's not going to happen. jhris, good luck to whoever you do wrestle though.

(big steve, i'm only about 6'2", but thanks for the props)
