Where is the love for Scott City???
They started out the season ranked #22!!
After havin a dual record of 18-1-1, with the loss to Norton, and the tie to Garden City @ Gardne City, and after finishing no worse than 4th
along with winning league over Ulysses and Pratt, and then winning regionals by 90 points and putting 13 of 14 wrestlers in the state brackets!!
They were still only ranked 7th after this
Not only did they win state, which eluded them in 2001, but they did it without a champion, and after being tied for 7th at the end of Friday night.
So, from me, congrats SC, and coach Lip, congrats to the 7 medalists, and good luck trying for the repeat next year, with 10 coming back, along with 215 lb Guy Miller.
