weight - class 123a, 4a, 5a, 6a champions
103-Burtin,Fisher,Metzler,Perez 112-Madden,Wall,Desazher,Edgmond 119-Farber,Bahe,Harding,Freeman 125-Younkin,Dees,Baker,Garcia 130-Annon,Kreigbam,Baldridge,Herrera 135-Tyler,Prater,Middleton,Aubrie 140-Gilliand,Galemore,Cornejo,Sullivan 145-J.Schippers,Grater,Anderson,S.Hill 152-M.Schippers,Metcalf,Langhover,Adkins 160-Foster,Taplin,Wise,Sondeger 171-Pursel,Davis,Payne,Cisper 189-Dennis,Marrs,Gonzales,Erhett 215-Horinek,Thorenson,Sponsel,Knipp 275-Spigg,Bedore,Payne,Carrera
Here are my Grand Champion Predictions, which are based on previous match ups and past results, If the four state champs from each class matched up.
103-Metzler 5a 112-Edgmond 6a 119-Harding 5a 2nd choice Bahe 4a 125-Garcia 6a 130-Baldridge 5a 2nd choice Kreigbam 4a 135-Prater 4a 140-Cornejo 5a (toughest weight in the state) 145-Grater 4a 152-Metcalf 4a 2nd choice Schippers 123a 160-Taplin 4a 171-Payne 5a 189-Marrs 4a 215-Horniek 123a 275-Bedore 4a
As I see it, 4a would have been the toughest class to win an individual title this year. with 5a a close second, with 123a and 6a tied for the easiest.
Best wrestlers at each weight for all classes: 123a - 1 4a - 6 5a - 5 6a - 1
OK guys, pick this post apart!

Dear fanatic:
Picking Metzler (5A) over Fisher (4A) at 103 lbs., Younkin (3A) over Garcia (6A) at 125 lbs., Kriegbaum (4A) over Baldridge (5A) at 130 lbs., and Gilliland (3A) over Cornejo (5A) at 140 lbs. is "the most far out"!

Cmon fanatic, do you really think that Younkin would beat Garcia at 125? and at 140 I think that Cornejo pretty much proved that he is the hands down favorite to beat Gilliand!
As far as Metcalf goes, I don't think that is to far off at all. Cmon give credit where credit is due, he won state at a very tough bracket, that Eirsman didnt even win.
130 is a toss up between Baldrige and Kriegbam

I am pretty sure that Grater beat Hill and that Edgmond has beat Desazher twice. It looks like I may have overlooked Fisher at 103lbs. because alot of people are picking him over Metzler. Did they wrestle this year?

Overall I think that 130 is the most stacked. Annon, Kreigbaum, Herrera and Baldridge? That's just freakish.

130 4A-4 time state champ 5A-3 time state champ 6A-2 time state champ I would definately say that it is the most stacked weight class.
I broke my toe at state... but I still got a better medal than Lancerm.

And since I'm a 4a guy, I'm going to say 4a. Big surprise.

I would have to say that 4a is the toughest of course im a 4a wrestler but look at the brackets in 4a there were wrestlers who didnt go to state that placed last year an then you have guys who did go to state an didnt place who placed last year. The brackets in 4a were just stacked. Just look at 119 to prove my point. Cory Bloodgood 33-4 6th-03, Tanner Dawson 25-1 2md-04 awesome sophmore, Logan Dreiling 26-6 5th-04, Sean Fylnn 30-7 SQ 2003,Joel Eberhart 20-2 6th-04, Blayze Bahe 31-1 4th-01,2nd-02,4th-03,1st-04, Joe Bonner 33-11, Ross Devoe 25-1 6th-01,2nd-02,1st-03,3rd-04, Jake Dozier 21-5, Ty Gennette 26-11 6th-02, Sean Cillessen 29-9 5th-03, Cody Bell 35-4 5th-02,4th-04. Pretty impressive group of wrestlers. There were other weights that were pretty stacked also but, 119 is easy to relate to.
