Last night after falling to my knees, I thanked God for my Mommy, my departed Daddy, my precious wife, and so on. As I was nearing the end of my lengthy list of thank yous, I paused ... and I reflected. Then I continued to thank god for Jeff Peterson, Prant Garker, Richard Salyer (or is Slayer), Nigel, Furches, Jhris, Parkwayred, and all the rest on the USAW Kansas Message Boards.
I thanked God ... for the life they bring to this forum. I thanked God for the oral discourse that they shared among themselves, which I am allowed to quietly participate in. (I love oral discourse but perhaps that’s an admission that I do not need to make)
I quietly nodded my head in appreciation for all of you, said Amen; I slowly did an outside leg standup (courtesy wrestling reference), and crawled into bed. I was secure in the fact that the oral discourse would continue and I was secure in the fact that I would be able to “catch up” in the morrow.

Thanks Randy… we all could use a prayer now and then. This forum brings myself joy that only a higher power could understand. Being a father, husband and a pseudo wrestling coach. This is one place that I can seem to find an inner peace with myself. As a practicing wrestling Buddhist (just check out my belly sometime) “Enough is a feast” and this is the smorgasbord of good people.
I’m not very smart… but I can lift heavy things!

Mr. Hinderliter-
Please make sure and pray for Dingbat, too. And Missouri wrestling.

i just remembered how great Slush Puppy was after a little league game.
Maybe you're not an ugly human, but a good looking ape.....with exceptional verbal skills.

Prant, I tried ... I really tried! I read your message about noon on Friday. It was a sunny day, a bit cold but sunny. I realized that I had forgotten to mention Dingbat in my prayers so I instantly dropped to my knees (actually, it was a slow painful experience) and began to pray. After my usual opening I asked the Heavenly Father to bless Dingbat … and then it happened.
I can’t really explain it but I’ll try. My home, which had been bathed in sunshine, suddenly went dark, a flash of lightening and a clasp of thunder startled me to my feet.
Now, I consider myself, a fairly fearless man, afraid of only deep water and snakes. And a bit touchy about the dark, and spiders, and being alone, and crowds … OKAY, I’m a coward … but anyway I was afraid. I stepped to my front porch and watched a single thunderhead as it passed over my house. Miraculously the cloud dissipated after it passed.
Wow, I resumed my place in prayer, thanking God. I started through my list and again asked for blessings on Dingbat. Suddenly my home was shaking. I fell to a wide base (courtesy wrestling reference) and tried to figure out what was occurring. The temperature in my house suddenly began to rise to an inferno level and the decorative wallpaper borders around our walls began to bubble. The furniture became displaced and knick-knacks began falling off their shelves. The phenomena ended as suddenly as it began.
Now Momma may have raised an idiot but I’m not a fool. Evidently the good Lord has a problem with Bingdat. Prant … I might try at a later time to bring up Missouri wrestling!
Jeez, I have a lot of cleaning up to do before wrestling practice!
