Does anyone know the lineup for this weekend in Goodland?I cant seem to find it anywhere on the Internet. Id also like to hear some replies on who you think is going to Win.

How the heck did you get stranded in eastern Kansas?? I also am a fan of Northwest Kansas Wrestling. I was fortunate enough to watch Sainty and Hoxie claim a few state championships. Watched little Gabel win four state titles. It’s likely that if Hoxie is at Goodland they will win. Goodland (especially under Rocky) Is almost always tough as is Colby and sometimes Scott City, But the little schools Sainty, Hoxie, Atwood, Oberlin, (Also I think Norton is 3a this year) are for real. Why would the grand potentates at Topeka send these schools (the 3,2,1A ones) to a place called Lakin (Noted powerhouse in Wrestling History – you think??) for regional??

I think that it is a regional tournament. It can be hosted by any team that has good facilities. Some teams in SW Kansas are fighting an uphill battle trying to improve high school wrestling in that area, and one of the most exciting tournament of the year (regionals) never takes place in the southwest. Maybe you should think of the better good of the sport and not worry so much about how far you have to travel. If we improve wrestling in all parts of the state then we improve Kansas Wrestling.
