Well since it is the "off season" even though we know wrestling truly doesn't have an an off season, and its pretty much a consensus that everyone is tired of the Manhattan and how much we can eat forums. I have decided to start a new series of forums that actually relate to wrestling in hopes of returning this site to the way it should be. So it would be appreciated that if you have a response keep it in the realm of the forum, now that being said one to the first forum.
Over the years Kansas has seen many great wrestlers, coaches, promoters, ect ect. But who are some of the great people in our sport from Kansas? Your response can pertain to anyone affliliated with wrestling. Also its not a who is better than who forum. So my nominees are Bill Stanhope who did so much for our sport while he was alive, I know he is still missed. Bob Gonzales for being the best announcer a Kids State tournament could have. And Mark Anderson for being one of the most knowledable officials I know and certainly the funniest adult I think I have ever met. These are some well respected people in my mind, but what do you all think?
