One is merely listing typical experiments one would expect to see in a chemistry class. The other is an answer to a 14 year old's question about what happens when these two materials are "mixed".
Note that it explicitly mentions that proper supervision and precautions be taken, if one performs this particular experiment. Obviously, that was missing in this case. Fortunately, no one was injured, but someone is learning a lesson the hard way.
