no Rush for Clay Center? and did Brendan really go from 140 up to 160 this year or was that some kind of wacky lineup switch?

answers chewie! i demand them!

Maybe you're not an ugly human, but a good looking ape.....with exceptional verbal skills.

I was very impressed with Andrew Todd. For a freshman, he did very well. Also, I thought Noel did an excellent job for Chapman. We had three kids sitting in the stands that I would have liked to see wrestle though. That hurt us.

just found out that Rush was beaten out for varsity by Lund. hopefully they can fit both of them in the lineup somewhere cuz it's a shame to have 2 state placers at the same weight.

Thanks for the scores...I'm still in amazement that Freeman won in the Junction City dual so convincingly, guess you can't deny heart in some cases.

Was Espeseth caught against the JC kid or something? Hopefully he can get better, really has nobody to work with except a kid new to the sport that is only 10 pounds over the 215 class.

Bertucci over Marrs? Isn't Marrs ranked as one of the best seniors nationally at 189?

As for the 2 guys at the same weight, why don't one of them do what Jacob Marrs did last year and bump up and that way you have 2 guys that bring in points to state quest. Although this Gunter kid seems pretty good or his competition was just that weak: maybe a combo?

Last but not least for now: 103's Michael Poland has the skill, has the talent, but just doesn't have the size yet. He weighed in at 94 lbs the other day. Once he puts on the weight it will be great. He will be a career 103 lb wrestler and should develop into that weight class nicely over the next few years.

Gunter is really good. he was stuck on JV behind guys like Rush and Boyer, but now he finally gets to show his stuff. from what i hear, Marrs looked pretty gassed at the end of his match and need to be get in better shape. i also heard that Lund looked pretty small for a 160lber (like a 152lber), so maybe if he cuts a bit then clay can get him down to 145.

are you gonna make it to the clay tourney Swayz? that's gonna be the first time that i'm gonna get a look at how the team is this year.
