That is Brad Traina. He is one of the hardest working kids I've ever been around. Obviously he's also blessed with pretty good genetics. Although we don't spend time as a team in the weight room, he works very hard when we're doing our strengthening work. We primarily focus on pull-ups and wrestling related pulls. I think way too much focus gets put on the bench. The only time I see that motion in wrestling is when a wrestler pushes the other guy off of him when he's been pinned. We have a 55 foot long pull-up bar in our room that gets used a lot.
Brad will be greatly missed, as will all of our seniors. What's great is that he spent a tremendous amount of time working with young guys like Mitchell Means and Boaz Beard. His work ethic has to rub off. He'd push himself to exhaustion all of the time, and then find a way to get at least one more rep in.

Yes, Brad is interested in wrestling in college. He seems to be looking around for colleges, mainly here in-state for a while (I believe his parents think he should be here for at least 2 years, maybe JuCo), but he had slightly thought about OSU later....any college willing to give him money I'm sure he'd love.
He also plays a mean drumset, trumpet and tuba. So, any wrestling and band hungry colleges...give him a call!

Don't let anyone from the national federation see this pic...they will say that he is dehydrated and should not be allowed to wrestle until his body weight is up.....
