I understand what you're saying, but it won't be as easy as a coaches conference call. Say for instance Hase and Rogers did wind up on the same side, do you think Coach Johnson is just going to concede that Keiswetter isn't deserving? Or if it's Racette and Palmer is Coach Lamar conceding Wall? I doubt it, especially if his kid hasn't ever met head-to-head with one of the two other kids. A coach's job is to put his wrestler in the best situation to win. Ever been to a seeding meeting? Some coaches will argue that Janet Reno isn't ugly to get a seed.

I would be interested in hearing said criteria for determining exceptions to the random rule though.
