I will admit that the Kansas wrestlers do deserve a D-1 wrestling college in the state in which they were born and raised. I do not believe the State of Kansas deserves one from what has been allocated to this effort thus far. I would say that usawks has become a state with the (novice syndome). When you look at the amount of money spent by the people of our state and the amount of money put back into the advancement of our wrestlers then you might think again why we are a novice state. If you look deep enough into the leadership and those that are in responsible position. You might begin to realize what this organization has become. Not only our organization but the Kansas coaches association has a resonsiblity to promote our wrestlers abroad. This is the breakdown that should be changed and redirected. There are many to many paychecks and not enough accountability or even an overall goal. So maybe I will pass you on the road as we drive to another state to watch wrestling.
