The Missouri Wrestling Foundation is proud to announce they will offer four
scholarships to wrestlers that qualify to compete on Team Missouri at the Cadet/Junior
National Championships in Fargo, North Dakota, July 20-26, 2007. These scholarships
will be awarded to two Cadet and two Junior wrestlers that not only demonstrate a high
level of athletic and wrestling ability, but more importantly demonstrate great character
and have established high academic standards. The Missouri Wrestling Foundation will
contribute up to $375.00 per wrestler, (This amount is equal to one-half the cost for each
wrestler to compete in the Freestyle and Greco National Championships) or one-half the
cost to compete in one style to Missouri USA Wrestling on behalf of the successful
candidates.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better on a 4.0 scale
• Student must have meet all Missouri USA Wrestling State requirements and
must have qualified to be a member of the Missouri National Team
• Student must demonstrate good citizenship in the classroom and community
• Student must provide one letter of recommendation
• Student must provide a copy of your 2006-2007 school year transcript or a
copy of your final grade card for 2006-2007 with your cumulative GPA
• Application must be returned by June 25, 2007
