Congratulations to the young men representing Team Kansas on an OUTSTANDING performance.

It was an incredible day! I realize that many of you are forced to miss these dual matches but those that were able to attend were treated.

As indicated by Sir Richard, the comeback win against Illinois, the Greco Champs was absolutely stunning! It actually started much earlier than the 152 bout!

The pin by Parker Madl at 119, may be overlooked by the casual fan. But I feel it was as much of a factor as any of the last six matches. Before I get chastised I freely admit that in a dual as close as the one with Illinois, every wrestler contributed. Even in our losses, Team Kansas performed well.

Those attending wished we could have captured the same emotion in the matchup with Missouri. But Missouri wrestled with emotion against us and performed better. The Showme's nearly had a let down against Illinois but pulled out the win.

I fear that I have to work tomorrow but I will make the trip as soon as I can get there!

I have the same fear! The wheat is in such poor condition however someone has to cut it.

In three of Team Kansas individual losses in the dual the single point won by the wrestler in the match were huge. Without the three points Team Kansas loses the dual by one point.

Cadet Freestyle records:(Not counting forfeits) In many cases, records don't tell the whole story. A lot of our kids scored points for the team and some of those 1 point swings contributed to winning the dual. I saw some amazing heart from Kansas in fighting off our back for entire periods and then winning the next two periods to win the match.
