Thanks Eric, Hope this weekend goes well. Be sure to contact all the area Kids Club Directors that are having tourneys this weekend especially(for ex: Rock Creek). It would maybe help your attendence to even take and buy/donate 20 tickets yourself and have drawing sign up and information booth at them to provide info and then announce a give away inside the gymnasium during that kids tournament every hour or two during the AM session for ticket give aways in block of 2 or 4 tickets. They(winners)would likely bring others/carpool bring friends and it would be promoting your event. I realize they may only catch action in afternoon after their Tourney but it would still bring SOME people trickling in throughout your day.

I'm sure you have it covered but hopefully Topeka Capitol Jounal, Manhattan paper, St. Joe Gazette, Wichita, Salina Lincoln, Omaha Papers as well as TV medias will run a little sports story or ad pro bono for you on Thurs or Friday to promote your EVENT .

Thanks for all your group is doing !!

If any one could further elaborate as far as the aboves
former respective High Schools & Wrestling Accomplishments.

It would also help if any one is aware of other KS wrestlers competing at any of the other attending schools. I know Newman out of Wichita has several. Please ADD to this thread !

Also if there are any other standouts that were big names or
WILL be in the national TITLE hunt !! .....Thanks

*One Last Thing*
If you are attending-please reply by posting your name-city
** Even better-if any adults out there from each kids club
would be willing to stick your neck out and say- hey I am from
####, KS kids club and will take 4 kids and so on.

Prob won't happen but would it not have been great to have a few reps from each kids club walking in wearing their indiv team colors and wearing a medal around their neck to show that this is where it starts. And see all those Kids Wrestlers in their colors dispersed throughout the gym !! Wow, ..that would be a good start !!

On The Mat,

Great ideas. Wouldn't it be great if it became an annual tradition for KSU to host the Conference Championships?? Hopefully it all goes well.

Drew Welchert is the club president and he's really been volunteering a lot of time to make it happen.
