The Newman University Wrestling Team finished in second place in Cedar Falls, Iowa this past weekend at the NWCA Cliff Keen National Duals. At the prestigious event, the top teams in each division are pitted against each other in head-to-head competition.
Newman fell in the championship finals to Grand Valley State University by a score of 31-21. The first two duals, however, went to the Jets with wins over Bowling Green University and the University of Central Florida. The Jets defeated Bowling Green by a stagering 51-6.
