Just wanted to congratulate Colby on a well run, well refereed tournament. Some excellent wrestling especially in that 12 and under group. I was wondering why Campbell (OA) did not wrestle that boy from Colorado. It was my understanding they were going to wrestle an excibition match. Can anyone help? Anyway from a spectators view a very good tournament to watch and I am sure a fun one for the kids

After the Colorado kid lost to Clay Anderson 2-1 I guess he decieded that he didn't need to wrestle another match. It was a very good match with Clay. Thanks also about the tournament I also thought everything went well and thanks for coming.

We had a great time at Colby! We traveled from Olathe so granparents could watch our son wrestle. I liked the format of starting neutral in the second and third period. It seemed to speed up the event.

How many kids were there. We may want to go next year if its a good tournament. We would need to know where the theme parks are ski resorts etc.

352 thats a pretty good turn out. We look forward to seeing you guys at weigh-ins Thursday. I see Taylor is seeded pretty high. Hope the kids can make Kansas proud.

My son is the one from Colorado, Clay wrestled a great match against my son, just what we needed for our 6th match of the year, We were not going to wrestle this year and he changed his mind over xmas break. You are only going to get better wrestling tough wrestlers, and Clay is tough. hear he went to tulsa hope he did well. as far as wrestling Campbell we planned on it, but found out from home what time our High School invite finals started and wanted to get back for them. So that is why we left. Might be able to come out to another tourney soon. We had never been to a Kansas tourney before,we had alot of fun and met some nice people. Our time there made us want to come back for more. Colby ran a great tourney, it ran real smooth. Thanks again for a great time in your state. Kevin Papachek

This is Clay A. dad. Although I have never posted on here I do like to read comments and I know many of you know me from kids, High School and Jr. High wrestling. I would just like to say it was a great match in Colby. Good competition benefits all. However I must clarify Clay has never been to Tulsa. He did wrestle at Nationals last yr. where he went 3-2. Besides a small trny. in NE a few yrs. ago Clay has never been outside of KS. and probably will not be. Anyway I agree with Mr. Papachek-a good tournament, a good match and 2 great kids.
