As far as who gets to enter a tournament goes, I personally know of a club that has been told they are not allowed to participate in specific tournaments. (one of which is not even in KS) It is up to the club to say who can enter or not. IF it is an invitational, then only the clubs that get the invitation are allowed in. Most of the clubs post their flyer on the website so anyone who wants to go can. Every club has the right to say who they do and don't want in their tournament. That is the joy of running your own.

As far as the comment goes regarding the Salina tournament and the big blow up there, our club was there, we were involved and it we had it to do over again, we would conduct ourselves in the same fashion we did that day. You must not be aware of the situation that happened the weekend before Salina. Don't tell me that we need to grow up. When a coach is being a JERK (for lack of what I really want to say about him)to a wrestler because their kid lost (and lost bad by the way) our coaches will defend him. And when a coach is being an even bigger JERK to OUR coach because the wrestler that his kid lost to happens to be that coaches son-we won't stand for that either. Kids win and lose, some coaches just need to learn to take their "KNOX" like everybody else.
