I know the young man who threw the head gear at the Gardner Edgerton tournament. He is a good boy and has never done anything of the sort before, nor has anyone in our club. Our head coach got on the team about this first thing at practice tonight, and feels horrible about the situation. It totally caught him off guard when it happened, and admits he should have pulled the boy out of the match. He is a great coach & the kids think the world of him, as do the parents. I will stand behind him & all of our coaches any day. He teaches our kids respect, and I want everyone to know that this was an isolated incident. Overall, the tournament was not a pleasant one. We lost one of our wrestlers early after he fractured his wrist, then the mentioned head gear throwing, & not many wrestled to their potential. Please do not look down on our club or coaches, for we are all taking this matter very seriously.

PS - He DID have a point taken from him due to his actions.
