You cannot and should not add 6U to the present state series. The tournament is TOO BIG now. There are not enough hotel rooms in Topeka and the host site treats the wrestling community disrespectfully. I don't really embrace the idea of 6U state but I understand the demand for it. If so, have it sanctioned by Kids Wrestling but as a stand alone event in Salina or rotate it around Hays, Salina, Topeka, and Wichita. Make it a one day event on a Sunday with qualifiers on the Sunday before in 8 different regions. Bring all 32 kids and have plenty of mats to let them battle it out with the spotlight being on them. THEY CANNOT BE ADDED TO THE PRESENT FORMAT!! THAT IS A TERRIBLE IDEA AND EVERYONE NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THAT!
