Is it true that you can change weights at the seeding meeting for sub districts, even though you entered at a different weight or didn't enter a weight at all??? If so, what is the point in entering ahead of time? Is that fair for everyone else? I have been told that this happens every year.

Why would you not allow weight changes at the seeding meeting?

Well, if you allow weight changes then why do you require entering in a paticular weight before the seeding meeting? Why not wait and enter everyone at the seeding meeting? It seems to me that this could a method of running from people in certain weights. I don't think you should be allowed to register in one weight and then when you see who is in that weight decide to change. What is the true cut off time for locking into a weight? It reminds of the final seconds of an ebay auction... does everyone scramble to get their final weight change in?

I can't speak for other districts but in ours you aren't allowed to see other teams entries so you wouldn't know who's at what weight.
