Of course they "want" to win. It's pride and bragging rights, that's all. In the grand scheme there is absolutely nothing at stake.

I "wanted" to win my east-west match, but I was already out of wrestling shape. I had other things on my mind. I lost a close match, whoopee.

I "want" to win at slap jack against my 8 yr old - that doesn't mean I stack the deck to make sure I do. (That's not at all a knock on MO's line up - I'm just trying to make a point)

I just don't know how you manipulate a wrestling line up when you have very few options at any given weight.

It's not like the coaches sit around waiting for the other side to post their line up so they can hand pick whatever kid they think has the best shot of beating them.
