i'll agree it's obvious u have to be good on your feet at the next level. but i enjoy watching some of the great top wrestlers in the country like nick simmons Mich st, jason ness Minn, coleman scott OSU, and mark perry Iowa. i think the lesson is be prepared to get off bottom or any one of these fellas could make it a long night for ya. i grew up with the the coaching "if u can can take him down and escape him, you'll win" but over the years i've come to appreciate the good top guys. the match that sticks out most in my mind from metro,(i know it was already brought up) is is witt vs neely. neely was BA on his feet. then witt chooses top and neely looks lost on bottom. if u watch the film you'll see his feet up in the air while he's on bottom. it's obvious he's not trained to be in that position. bottom line train to be good in all 3 phases.
