Are you looking for practice time or wrestlers to take to Brute? Your recruiting efforts last night were not appreciated!
Seems to me like an honest question asked by Mel. As to recruiting wrestlers to take to Brute, in the past, we have tried to have all Kansans represnted as TEAM KANSAS with the Kansas Wizzers. Hopefully this not an attempt, especially on the HS level to do away with a Team Kansas approach as it helps bring attention to Kansas HS wrestlers. I could say more, but knowing little about what is going on so won't say to much.
I will say I know the Derby Panther Elite club that is practicing at the Derby Middle School has welcomed numerous HS kids into the room, there is no fee to join and all you need is the USA Card. We are still trying to find a room for the Wizzers, any offers appreciated, but with the Derby room, and the quality practices run by Jeff Harrington, and the other rooms that may open up, there should be some things in the Wichita area. I do know there have been major benefits in the past of getting all of the HS kids together for the college level, and intense practice sessions run. Hopefully we will get some time in for that soon.
