Sorry I wanted to know about the 52 lb bracket not 55! I hear that there is 41 kids in it??
Sorry I have 2 boys that wrestle but my 6U is 52 lbs.

These are the top 4 at Wichita Classic. Look for them on Sunday. As for numbers cant guess an exact number but I would bet it will be a 32 man bracket. Can Sappington wrestle Kansas State since he is from Missouri?

are these numbers down a little from last year. I think my son was at 52 last year and had 48 kids in his bracket. seems like 58 and 61 have been small all season. I guess I did get to see gilliland at the classic. My son beat her in the semi-finals. Pretty strong kid though.

I know Brycen's bracket at 49lbs was a 64 man bracket with 55 kids in it!! Seems like the numbers are down some?!?

19 kids at 64 is more than I expected. Who are the favorites? Wish we could have gone at 61 since we have wrestled that weight all year but chose to concentrate on wrestling hard at subs and not worrying about weight since his ultimate goal is to make it to Topeka. is ottawa also having subs on saturday. if not is there a chance the kids could get a practice in on saturday. how about it renee. is your club willing to maybe have something or would there be a risk factor involved. maybe in the future a clinic or something can be added to this age group. doesnt look like its ever going to get noticed at the regular state so we as an outside group might as well make it the best we can for this age group.

OUR CLUB IS TAKING 38 KIDS TO SUBS IN PITTSBURG ON SAT. AT THE HIGH SCHOOL THERE IS A VOLLEYBALL TOURNEY AND WE CANNOT EVEN GET INTO THE BUILDING UNTIL WEIGH-IN TIME RIGHT AT 7:00 P.M. GREAT IDEA ABOUT A PRACTICE BUT CAN'T SWING IT THIS YEAR... SORRY GUYS...SEE YOU ALL ON SAT. OR SUN....GOOD LUCK TO ALL AT SUBS!!!!

any other area clubs holding practice on saturday. lol come on these are 6 year olds. beats running for an hour if needed. i think mine will be alright now on his weight but as of yesterday he was 3 lbs over after supper. after practice tonight he was right on.

cause they have already signed up for a certain weight 2 weeks in advance. no different than the 8 year olds. 2 weeks ago he was 2 pounds under. he is right on now and I have no worries. just cant eat the baby ice cream i guess.
