It doesn't matter where you draw the line, kids will not get to wrestle due to a few ounces and/or inaccurate scales.
You have to draw the line somewhere, and it is rightfully drawn with zero tolerance. Weight allowances punish kids who manage the weight properly.
very true but what about the kid who does manage his weight properly but steps on to a scale that is inaccurate. now he gets punished. sounds like an even trade off to me.
