Definetley encourage all the wrestlers especially the girls..I love watching my daughter come off the mat after winning and not to sound rude but watching the parents of the boy get mad cause they got beat by a girl Its great..But I also am on the other side of the court as well as I have a son who wrestles and has a few girls in his bracket..I do have to admit I tell him dont you dare get beat by a girl I know total hipocrite lol Its amazing how us parents with girl wrestlers can see eachother and remember and talk like we have known eachother for years..Its that bond..My daughter is so lucky she has the full support of her family and team as well as others..I was worried about how my son was going to react when sister was wrestling and he got 2nd and she brought home first place well that happened first thing this year and I was ready for him to throw a fit getting upstaged by a girl let alone your younger sister..but he has been so awesome he is mat side by the coaches every match of hers cheering her on and warms her up before hand he works moves here at home with her and when it comes time to shake hands he is right there and always shakes the kid who she wrestled hand and says good job..Then if sissy is crying its a hug and good job bugga dont cry youll get them next time and if she is smiling it high five way to go sissy Ill never forget the first moment I was prouder as a parent we were at practice towards the beginning of the year and they was split into beginner one side other on the other side and the beginners were playing king of the mat and Leea was up and Deric was on the other side of the gym and she won and he claped really loud and yelled good job leea she won the next match and he looks at the kid standing next to him and goes hey thats my sister..That pays for itself..Tell Veronica to keep her head up Its a long year but she is so close and has came so far dont quit now you have it in you..Also for the parents of girls if they want to wrestle but not boy level they do have a all girls team here in Kansas called the Krusaders..
