its only a matter of time before one of those kids gets hurt. learning that stuff only makes just an ordinary fight after school turn dangerous at the same time.

There's no need to beat a dead horse, but some UFC guys would.

I've been to Carthage. This comes as no surprise.

Ok either I am to old to know what Compations are, or the word does not exist. I just looked it up in the dictionary, ask.com, and google. So what are COMPATIONS?

i am with beeson what is compations?

i hope this does not end up asking this question as what i asked my wife. so here it goes.

the other nite in a post some one made the comment " HORSE HOCKEY PUCK " never heard that before, so i asked my wife she started laughing, i then stated for your info horse's play the sport polo not hockey. she then explained what a " HORSE HOCKEY PUCK " was.

BOY DID I FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT. BUT NOT ALL BAD I LEARNED SOMTHING.

I have to be honest, as much as I love a good wrestling match, watching a player get blown up on the gridiron, even an occasional boxing or kickboxing match, the first time I saw a UF match I got a little queezy to my stomach. I started to question my manlihood until I realized that this was actually about as savage a sport as I had seen. Sorry, but not for me, and I doubt it is a very healthy or productive outlet for kids either.

" YOU THINK IT WOULD BE OK IF THERE WAS NO COMPETITION " what would be the point if there was no competition.

ufc is awesome for adults but do not let my kids watch it. I would rather watch those guys kick each others butts then to have mine kicked or watch kids doing it. so all that being said. the ufc will be around for a long time. its growing so fast and there will be a lot of college wrestlers transition to it in the future. with that kinda money how can i blame them.

The point is to have fun and learn self control and would keep them busy.

Wrestling, Baseball, and Football would keep them busy and teach self control. As I stated earlier, in MMA there is not a definate stopping point. They keep punching, kicking, and pounding on each other until the ref pulls them off. There is no self control, they continue beating an unconscious person until they are pulled off. HOW CAN THIS BE GOOD FOR KIDS?

not good for kids and not good for them to watch. i almost think karate is not for kids but if you have good parents and teachers than it can be good. mma is not for kids and hopefully parents do not let kids watch it on spike.

Oh steve bock, c'mon not letting them watch it on spike? I agree its not good for the kids to do MMA but watching it isnt gonna hurt anything.Im sure you didnt watch it when you were six but if memory serves me right you liked to hook it up when you got older. Old comet like yourself.

not saying that but i have grown up after having 5 kids and do not let my little ones watch it. if they choose to watch it later on when they are grown then thats fine with me. i do not want my kid doing some of the things i grew up doing. thats why i moved away from chanute. lol.
