Monday night at practice Tuff said there were about 350. We were hoping for 500, the reason for extending until 9pm. Good facility & Tuff puts on a good tournament. Hope to see you there.

This is Jake Tanenbaum. Matt pinned me last year at Emporia in the finals and beat me 8-4 at Mill Valley. I haven't yet seen him this year at Emporia or Clay County but good luck to him, Skip and Buzz. I might go down to Paola to practice there some this year. I am at 12 and under 105 this year so far 10-0, I hope I can stay undefeated for awhile but that will be hard. Cody Munsch is in my weight class this year i beat him at Emporia 13-4 in the finals two weeks ago. and i had one guy show up in my braket, i pinned him twice, then they gave me tow exibition matches. Colby Crank and Joel Marrs. They both took first at states last year and Joel took first at Topeka Nationals last year too. I beat Colby 4-0 and I was losing but then i came back and won in overtime 5-3 to Joel. Good luck for your wrestling club this year. By the way, has Matt attended any tounraments this year? If so, how'd he do?

Now that the deadline has passed, how many kids are you looking at for the Paola tournament this Saturday. This will be our clubs first time to attend the Paola tournament and we are looking forward to it. We have a kid on our team that has wrestled Dillon in the past, he is a GREAT KID and WRESTLER!!!! How is he doing and what is he wrestling this year? Looking forward to Saturday! Thanks!!!!

I talked to the director a little while ago and I think they have a good turn out. My son's division (10U 170) is usually only 2-3 kids and there is 6 in his....he is ready.
