The National Championship has yet to be determined and the Alabama Crimson Tide does not play until 7:00 P.M. on January 2, 2009.
To be clear, the winningest program since WWII is playing for the National Championship on January 8th, 2009. Alabama is playing in a secondary bowl game. It's a great time to be a Sooner. Between the two consecutive bedlam victories, Six Big 12 conference titles (3 in a row), a fifth Heisman trophy winner and an undefeated b-ball team, it's sometimes forgotten that the school is actually known for stressing academics.
Man, it's lonely on top!
