Kiyon has helped us with the Kansas All-American camp in Winfield for a long time. He was an awesome person and loved wrestling. Kiyon's family will be in our prayers.

It really saddens me to hear this! I did not know him personally but was a tremendous competitor and great to watch with kids at the kids club tournaments!
My prayers go out to his family and friends. I talked with him at tournaments a few times and had a lot of respect for him as both a coach and person. It's sad that stuff like this happens.
Coached against Kiyon in his first state final. I liked him a lot and have since counted him as a friend. I am so very sad for his family, friends and his coaches from his high school days. I know they loved him and I feel lucky to have been on the same mat with him so long ago. This should not have happened to a good guy like Kiyon. My thoughts with all who will miss him.
makes me sick to my stomach, such a senseless act. makes you stop and think about what is really important. kiyon was a great competitor, and a great coach, i know he will be missed greatly by all who knew him closely. our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and team.
