i agree that it is wrong to cut weight in the 10 and under brackets or younger but i think that 12 and under 14 and under and 16 and under it should be up to the parents and kids!!! if they are not hurting themselves or making themselves sick and there is no helth issues then i think the club shold support the familys' decision.. cause once the kids start puberty their weights fluxuate daily and it is a lot harder to stay at a steady weight...so since you have to sign up for tournaments weeks in advance then i think it shold be up to the kids and their parents!!!!
