I would put Brandon Smith in the finals even though he's only an 8th grader he is still a really good wrestler.

Brendan Halpin dominated Smith at Districts winning 9-2, and almost had him stuck in the first period. Brendan is a competitor for the title at this weight I believe.

You seem to forget that Brandon Smith won at sub-district to Brenden Halpin 6-0. I wouldn't call the race yet, they are both great wrestlers and great kids. You never know when someone might be having an off day. If your going to lose, it's best to do it before State weekend. Goodluck to both. Your are both great sportmen win or lose, which makes you always the winner. For "just a 8th grader" I'd say Brandon does fine.

I saw lang wrestle irvine and it wasnt his best match, but if he wrestles is best he should beat irvine and maybe even win state.
