1st period was scoreless. Detmer escaped in the 2nd, Caldwell got a reversal in the 3rd and Detmer escaped to make it 2-2. Later in the 3rd Detmer tried a throw on the edge and Caldwell covered him for a takedown. Detmer escaped for the 4-3 final score.
