caldwell's presence at 160, seems to have made at least 1 wrestler decide to move up in weight. much like elliot did a year ago, to ensure a state championship, by not wrestling cotton. jmo.

Cotton and Elliott came to a mutual agreement to wrestler in different weight classifications due to their close personal relationship. To imply Elliott was ducking Cotton is an insult to Scott Elliott and his competitive spirit.
On many occasions a coach places their wrestler(s) in the classification where the coach believes the wrestler will score the most TEAM points in order to win the TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP. (Hint at why the Heights wrestler will be at 171 and not 160 lbs.)
