I believe the tournament host should do what's best for the teams attending, not what's best for them.
I remember having to drive two hours to a seeding meeting after a shortened practice, and then turn around and drive back home, getting home late, and then have to get up and teach the next day.
This cost extra money for the school, took time away from my family on a school night, and wasn't exactly the safest to drive home tired after a full day of teaching and coaching.
When you seed earlier in the week there are always changes in brackets anyway.
