Young ref on Mat 1 struggled all day. He made a call on locked hands, then when the parent of the kid said he was wrong, he tried to change it. Later a kid scored a takedown and at the end of the move he grabbed the head gear. The opposing coaches told the ref he missed the call so he changed it even though he admitted he never saw the headgear being grabbed. I know refs make mistakes, but you need to have conviction in your calls, and not change them just because someone tells you that you missed something when you never saw it.
