Academics and wrestling I believe both the NCAA and the US Department of Education base their graduation standards that a student must graduate in six years from the same 4 year institution they enrolled in as a freshman. If a student transfers he/she is listed and counted as a non-graduate.
Based on the above, the national college graduation average for 2009 is 79 %. The 1999 to 2002 averaage of NCAA Div I Wrestling was 72%.
