Mat time is too complicated. Matches is much easier to manage. A 16 man bracket is the largest you can have for a one day, line bracketed, tournament. You could go with 20 and four five many pools with two rounds of medal matches for a max of six as well. If you go mat time and someone has a bunch of OT matches they might have to forfeit their sixth match. Lets avoid that issue.
