they usually go from the placings at the roller tournamets. i mentioned earlier that an OK kid is ranked and seeded, when he has never beat one of our kids. matter of fact i've only seen him beat one KS kid, and i doubt that would happen twice. biggest thing to remember that seeds don't mean places, if you have to wrestle from the back side, so be it. let them have their seeds, then take their medals, that's how we roll.

As far as I can see the 10u Kansas kids in 52-61 are in the right spots for a Kansas kid to bring it home.

In the past, it has always been all medal rounds for the open division. I would assume it is the same this year.

Scott,
Fighting that one myself. My guess is that they don't look outside of OK to seed. I think the OK coaches try to manipulate it so that their boys avoid the unknown and try to put out of state kids against each other. I emailed Roller to plead my case about the seeding. Waiting for a reply on that. They now have that disclaimer about seeding when you look at the entries. How is Nate (the OW at JOC) seeded below Patrick Lee who he pinned in under 30 seconds and barely placed. Just makes me laugh! Tell Nate we said good luck!

This is what I say. Warning Warning Warning The boys from Kansas are coming and they are mad as hell for not getting the respect that some deserve. Now we must make all you Okies and others pay for that mistake lol. If you dont know who some of those Kansas kids are going in you will when they leave. Lets go Kansas kids and lets make a statement. I know all the top dogs will pull through but we need some of those that are not known pull those upsets if thats what they want to call them.

Looking forward to it, will have to find out where we are all going to sit and try to put on a show of support for KS wrestlers. Just wish we could take more wrestlers with us.
Good luck to everyone going and have a safe drive. Troy

would be cool if some of the Kansas coaches that have been doing this for a long time took over and had a meeting on the mat for all Kansas kids to do a break down Kansas or something so they know who we are to start off the tournament. Im sure after the tournament they will know alot of us a little better.
