I understand you are just joking around but if there is another arcane English rule I am not aware of I want to know it.

My reason for disagreeing is that the use of a or an depends on the word that follows it. If the word begins in a vowel "sound" you use an. If it is a consanant "sound" you use a. I could not find any reference where it mattered if the word was an adjective or a noun. So, let me know where I can find the rule you mention. Just for curiosity sake. wink
