These are not final teams scores. Lansing and Oak Park tied for 2nd. Andale won with 191 I believe.

I wonder if they will up-date the finals matches to include the score of the decisions. Lots of them didn't have that.

A very good tournament. Lots of good rasslin. BUT NEEDS SOME FINE TUNING:
1. Mat 3 Clock/scoreboard (a one sided clock setting on the scorers table) could not be seen by the north half of the stands. 2 or 3 problems: Crowds, parents, and team mates standing next to the coaches, the mat and the scorer's table and blocking the view of the clock. Clock sitting too low on the table (note: a 3 sided clock on a tripod sat next to Mat 4 and could be seen from all seats). I asked the announcer, a B/L person, if they could reposition the mat 3 clock. "Can't do, too short a cord". Not a good answer mid day Saturday. By late in the wrestlebacks, the mat 3 clock was turned to were it could probably only be seen from mat 4 scoree's table. Probably could have bought 40 feet of cord and jacks at Radio Shack for $10.00. Not there Friday but suspect they probably had the same problem. For this to be a high quality tournament, should have bought, borrowed, rented or stole another 3 sided clock---or at least a longer cord!!
2. Crowd control. If the announcer said it ounce he said it several times. Something to the affect "If you are not wrestling clear the area along the walls". Evidently everyone saw his lips a movin but didn't hear a word he said! 5 or 6 of Basehors finest were standing in the commons area, but guess thay were not available for crowd control.
3. 145 bracket not available on Friday night on the web site. Understandthis happened with the same bracket in 2009. Also, notsure how and when they do the web cast updates. Some came quick and for others a long long delay. Friday night at 10:30 PM, looking at the web cast, I thought they had fibished and the winners bracket semis would be first thing Sat AM. Wrong--had completed another round or 2 of the losers brackets and the semis. Just a long delay in publidhing the updates.
Again, a very good, enjoyable tounament for all: wrestlers, coaches, parents, fans!

Actually they are correct based on what I witnessed which was the AD came out to the Goddard bus and said they made a mistake and traded the trophies and medals. Great results and props to all regardless. Big props to Andale.

Those one-sided clocks are a problem at a couple of tournaments that I have been to. If the host school will just ask, one of the attending schools may have a three or four-sided clock they will bring if the host waives their entry fee.

4. If you are going to have 'Archives' of previous Bobcat Classics on the website, please have them really be archives. Every year I clicked on (2004, 05, 06, etc.) kept going back to last year's tourney (2009). But, thanks for the site anyway. Just some 'constructive criticism'. You might just want to remove the archive links altogether or get them to work correctly.

Good ref'n.
I think after all the stink from Derby, the refs took some extra care. They let scrambles work themselves out, and several refs could be heard or seen emphatically signaling close or no calls--especially along the out of bounds ring.
Good job!!!

Maybe they should rename that bracket to 144 and see if it would work!

The information is free and is provided for your benefit and you choose to offer 'constructive criticism'?? I guess that’s why he put the word “Constructive” in front of criticism, to soften the tone? I think we are lucky here in Kansas to have access to as much information on High School wrestling as we do. Just try to find some info on the Missouri web sites and you will quickly find out we don’t have it too bad! However that is not to say there is not room for improvement. Just because something is free, and very much APPERCIATED doesn’t displace the disappointment of it not functioning as it appears it should.

Some people (such as Earle) understand what 'constructive' criticism means. You, Richard are obviously not one of them. I mentioned many times on this forum that I am thankful for the info provided by others. I have also mentioned that we are not entitled to this information and are lucky that we get it. I have encouraged others to find stuff and do their own research. If you know anything about teaching elementary physical education, you are welcomed to come watch me teach anytime. I welcome any constructive criticism. I have nothing to fear from getting better. I live in Junction City, Kansas and teach at Sheridan elementary school. You can find me in the gym. But be sure to sign in at the office first. Here is the school website: http://sheridan.usd475.org/PS: Earle, you can come and watch me teach to if you'd like. Your last sentence hit the nail right on the head as far as my intent/motivation/meaning. Thank you, much like I thanked BL for their website.
