I'm not saying "trendy". I guess a youthful energy is more what I mean. There are still several small towns in Colorado with a youthful energy that aren't overexposed "trendy" tourist towns. Durango is an overexposed "trendy" tourist town but it would still be great to go to school at Ft. Lewis if they had wrestling.

Alamosa is close to the South San Juans, the best chunk of Mountains in the west in my opinion. Easy access to other cool spots too. I've spent a decent amount of time traveling through, working, and watching wrestling in and around Alamosa and it's okay. It would be much better to retire there than to be 20 there.
