Not sure what Western Kansas has to do with your concern regarding travel; the rule is 500 miles FROM THE BORDER not from your school/community. Norton could travel across the state and then go an additional 500 miles east of the Kansas-Missouri Border and still be within the rule.

We are NOT fearful of traveling; for crying out loud we travel all the time; travel "out here" is a way of life!

I do not know where you live, but we probably travel more miles for regular competition in a normal week of our season than you do in your entire season.
