We are from OK and there is not a tournament I know of on New Years Eve. I see the three in Kansas: Lakin, Lincoln, and Paola. How do these three tournaments rate and what is the anticipated attendence of each?

Last year, Paola was on Jan 2nd. It was good competition with a nice turnout. I have heard from a lot of clubs that will be there but don't know how the 12/31 thing will change things. The results page will give you some idea from last year.

Jdh,
The WWC open is on the 31st. Good competition and well organized tournament. We've traveled from Hays the past 2 years and will go again this year. We've gotten good quality matches.

Jdh,
The Belton Open is on the 31st and novice is on the 1st. If it is anything like last year there will be from Georgia to Alaska, I think there were something like 8 states there.
Belton is just across the state line east of Olathe.

Wrestlers from Alaska coming to Belton, Mo? With Paola being the 2005 team state champions, I'd have to go with their tournament.
