Just a note to the younger wrestlers that love this wonderful sport. Stick with it! The practices and early Saturday mornings payoff.

Our high school team has almost 30 wrestlers, 2 freshmen are wrestling on the varsity team. Both have done kids club wrestling since they were very small. I, also, know of at least three other freshmen that are wrestling on varsity teams, all of which have been involved in kids wrestling since a very young age. It was great to read the wrestling results in the paper and recognize names of friends that we have made throughout our many years of wrestling.

So, parents, continue to be the wonderful support for your young wrestlers and WRESTLERS, continue to learn, have fun and enjoy the sport of wrestling, because giving up those Saturday morning cartoons does payoff.
