UNO is just so deep at every weight. Their entire starting lineup is full of legit DI recruits and the backups could start for most DII teams.
I know we UNO fans can be pretty full of ourselves, but it is a real testament to the Coaches and the program when guys choose to stay with the team as back ups when they could likely go somewhere else and start. I haven't been around forever, but I have not heard of any wrestler in recent history who left UNO to wrestle somewhere else. It is great to be part of a successful team that acts and feels like a family.
In addition, as a Kansan, and from what I saw yesterday in Hays, FHSU is well on its way to the same kind of tradition.
