Hey guys need some info. We just had some jr high girl wrestlers join our club. Haven't had any in over 20 years in this club. Someone was talking about a girls state never heard of it where can i find some info.

The location of Center High School is in Kansas City, Missouri. This is not a USA Wrestling sanctioned event and their will be a spectator admission charge.

Missouri USGWA Girls Wrestling State Championships OPEN
Saturday, February 27, 2010
Center High School, Kansas City, Missouri

Weigh In
7:00 am to 9:00 am on Saturday, February 27, 2010. Wrestling starts at 10:00 am and continues until completed.

Eligibility
Any girl/woman who is age 5 or older.

Elementary Division
Division for K-5 graders. Matches - 3 min. 1/1/1. HS rules.
Blocked Weights during 2010 season.

Middle School Division
Division for 6-7-8 graders. 4 1/2 min. 1.30/1.30/1.30 HS rules.
65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 140, 155, 180, 220.

High School Division
Division for 9-10-11-12 graders. 6 min. matches: 2/2/2. HS rules.
98, 103, 108, 112, 116, 120, 124, 128, 133, 139, 146, 155, 170, 250.

Collegiate Division
Division. 7 min. matches: 3/2/2. NCAA rules (no riding time).
97, 105, 112, 121, 130, 138, 148, 158, 176, 209, 250.

Insurance
This tournament is insured by the Bob Leid Agency, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, the leading wrestling/team sports insurer in the country. They specialize in wrestling. Policy available upon request.

Style
Folkstyle (high school style) rules. National Federation rules book will apply. HEADGEAR MANDATORY, hair netting optional. NCAA rules for Collegiate Women Division; no riding time.

Entry Fee
$25.00 per wrestler if postmarked by February 20, 2010; $30.00 at weigh-in. REGISTER EARLY!!!!!!

Spectator Admisssion Fee
$6.00. Everyone pays except wrestlers, referees, table workers, and tournament administrators. Children under age 5 FREE.

Individual Awards
Medals to the TOP 3 placers in each weight group in each division.

Uniforms
High School uniforms shall not be worn unless OK'd by your school and your states' HS Athletic. Assn. Elem, MS, and College may wear their uniform of choice.

Weigh-In Attire
A singlet is the REQUIRED weigh-in attire.

Thanks Darren for posting the flyer on the forum. I had meant to. One change on the flyer we mailed out compared to the one Kent Bailo posted on his web site and mailed is that we don't charge a spectator fee. Bring the whole family!! We hope you'll come back for the USAW-KS Girls state in March. Let's make it the biggest ever!
