There was a kid injured in Mulvane this past weekend in the 8 under 90-Lt Hwt injured against Chris Turner ( Owen Blandamer) and I would like to know if is is okay. I was sorry to hear about his injury and want to wish him and his family the best. Congrats to second place he kicked some butt. Hope he is gong to recover quickly. Garins and our thoughts are with you. I hate to see any injuries especially one that at the time looked as bad as his. I miissed the last of the tourney but heard he was hurt. Get Well Soon.

Owen suffered a serious break in the growth plate at his elbow. The first attempt by the surgeon to put in pins was unsuccessful as when the elbow was moved, the bones gapped apart again. Owen's mom, Robyn, told us they had to get him back to surgery to start over again. The surgeon told the family that this injury was the worst of that type he had ever seen.

I will let Robyn know you have asked after him and his family. What a disappointment for Owen right before State and for the Fredonia Wrestling Club. You're right, he was kicking "some butt" Saturday. But I hear tell he has all ready said he'll just have to take State "next" year. What a great attitude for a kid that young to have after suffering through everything.

Sure hope he recovers quickly. We had a boy in our club break his arm at a tournament in Colby lucky it was right above the growth plate. Dr. said if it hadn't been it would have been a long recover. Thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.

Very sorry to hear about his injury. No one wants to see any of these kids get hurt, and when one does, we all feel the pain. Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery.
